Case Studies

Results:
The program was implemented and facilitation quality improved over time. There was a consistent delivery, professionalism and quality that allowed the next phase of work for the team, cross-functional training, to occur.
Case Study
State Department Facilitation Program

Situation:
The DOS project called ILMS consisted of twenty facilitators who delivered training on a host of topics for post personnel around the world. The quality of the facilitation was on a range that was not acceptable for consistency, and quality, plus it did not allow for cross-functional facilitation options for managers.

Task/Activity:
- I built a facilitation checklist and assessment tool with a procedure to evaluate facilitators multiple times per year.
- The team was apprehensive about the program since they had not been subject to evaluation in the past.
- So, we back engineered the program piece by piece.

Results:
The strategy was accepted for implementation in 2025.
Case Study
Junior Talent Feeder Program

Situation:
Acentra Health was overpaying skilled employees by 10-20% due to the lack of a junior talent pipeline.

Task/Activity:
I collaborated with the VPs of Finance and Talent Acquisition to Analyze the current state, set strategic objectives, develop a tactical plan and present the proposal to the COO and CEO. I led the effort to complete the project and delivered the presentation to the executives, proving the plan would save $5M in year four of the program.

Results:
This learning ecosystem was implemented in twelve weeks, historical data and learning assets were transferred, and a change initiative was conducted in parallel, resulting in a 25% increase in voluntary learning hours and certifications in late 2024.
Case Study
Learning Ecosystem Implementation

Situation:
CNSI and Kepro merged in late 2023, requiring the selection of a single Learning Management System.

Task/Activity:
I employed a DMAIC process and formed a committee of HR, Operations, Finance and Procurement teams to vet and ultimately select Cornerstone’s LMS and their EdCast LXP.
